After 30 years absence of peregrines from Sussex due to pesticide-induced extinction, the population has made a spectacular comeback. The Sussex Peregrine Study has monitored this re-colonisation following the first post-pesticide breeding in 1990 and their records coupled with those of professional egg collectors from the first half of the 20th Century, make the Sussex peregrines the most comprehensively monitored population in the world.

Dr. Mike Nicholls talks about 100 years of uninterrupted monitoring, cataloguing the decline, extinction, repopulation of this unique population.
