As the Museum prepares for the new season, come along and see what is new for 2017. With our first Toddler Tuesday of the season is on the 21st February, they will be looking at wonderful wheels around the Museum in a fun filled morning of activities for children aged 0-5. Also our first activity Wednesday on the 22nd February, Mr Pepper’s Chalk day, will be looking at the history of the Museum.

So come along and discover, learn and have fun at Amberley Museum. This week we will have a special entry rate at the Child price of £6 per person (or £6.60 with GiftAid) under 4’s go free.

With 36 acres to explore and over 40 exhibits to visit, there is so much to discover, learn and have fun at Amberley Museum. The Museum is dedicated to preserving the industrial heritage of the South East. Exhibits include our communications building, electricity hall, working printshop, and the lime kilns which date back to when the site was a working chalk quarry. The Museum is also home to traditional crafts people such as the wheelwrights and blacksmith. You can also take a ride on the narrow gauge railway and historic buses to explore around the museum.

We have our own on-site café serving hot and cold food, and picnic areas around the site. The Museum is accessibility friendly and dogs are also welcome on site but must be kept on a lead at all times. We have been awarded the Kennel Club ‘Best Dog Friendly Attraction Award’ for Days Out 2016.
