Art, Artists & Craftsmen

It's impossible to underestimate the number of incredible arts and artisans in Arundel and the surrounding areas. As an illustration of the plethora of creativity going on in the area, consider the annual Arundel Gallery Trail (as part of the Arundel Festival) which is in it's 25th year and includes more than 70 venues and numerous more artists numbers than that around the town. All local or locally sponsored artists!

Additionally we have one of the finest fine-art restorers based on Tarrant Street and the wonderful Zimmer Stewart Gallery. Just over the hill you can find the irreplaceable craftsmen of the Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre, and a little further away you can visit the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum, West Dean, and the cultural hub that is Brighton.
