Mark Lanahan Singing Master of Ceremonies

The Singing Master of Ceremonies

As a Master of Ceremonies I have over 15 yrs of planning and guiding couples and their guests through their great day then surprising the guests with Opera and pop classics! My wife Jane and I are here to help you enjoy your day the way you want it to be; not trying to do it all yourselves then relying on the venue or equally stressed family to manage! Lol! For video and testimonials got to or Facebook: Mark Lanahan-Singing Master of Ceremonies

In his role as the Opera Singing Master of Ceremonies, with Marks’ years of experience, he has helped and guided couples to make their day as memorable and smoothly run as possible.

As every couples’ wedding day is different, Mark has bespoke examples to fit their requirements and timings, as every budget can be catered for; from a Song or Aria at the service to guiding the couple from the reception to departure including the surprise entertainment!

Other ideas.......

Singing Waiter
One or two Performers act as Waiters, interacting with your guests then get bet to sing a favourite song of the Bride or Groom. 2nd Waiter surprises the 1st mid song culminating in the classic Nessun Dorma with napkins waiving and your guests on their feet!

Singing Santa
During your dinner Sleigh bells begin to be heard by your guests and then suddenly Father Christmas appears interacting with your guests, (especially the few, unbeknownst to them, you've set up for Santa to have a laugh with!) singing songs such as Blue Christmas (Elvis style), Santa Clause is coming to town (Springsteen style), Winter Wonderland (Buble style)and White Christmas (singalong)

Singing Guest
Can be solo or join in with the Waiter act.

I join the reception in the guise of a new work colleague or Partner/Husband; I interrupt proceeding saying I've been bet to sing a song or surprise the Singing Waiter by joining him in his Aria straight from my stunned Table Guests!"
