High Beeches

A hidden gem in the High Weald of Sussex, High Beeches is a botanical treasure trove. The 27 acre natural landscape has been sensitively planted with many exotic trees and shrubs to create a unique garden of great beauty and tranquillity.

A garden for all seasons as there is much to see and enjoy throughout the year. The magnolias flower in spring towering over the camellias and the many daffodils and miniature narcissi. In early summer the woodland glades are carpeted with bluebells and surrounded by the colour and fragrance of a multitude of azaleas and rhododendrons. In June the ancient, acid wildflower meadow is a magical sight teeming with insects and butterflies. Autumn brings a breath taking display of colour provided by the numerous Nyssas and Maples.

Open from 28th March to 1st November, every day except Wednesdays, 1pm – 5pm.

Tea Room serving, coffee, lunches and teas.
