Brent Lodge is one of only 20 specialist hospitals in the UK,and was established 47 years ago, making it the longest serving wildlife hospital in the south of England. The purpose of the charity is to provide treatment to sick, orphaned and injured wildlife, rehabilitate them and reintroduce them back into their natural habitat where ever possible.
Our expertise and knowledge on most of British wildlife species is not only recognised in the local community but on a national scale. After starting as a wild bird hospital, Brent Lodge has evolved into a wild animal hospital able to care for over 3,000 small mammals as well as many wild birds from across West Sussex and East Hampshire each year.
